From November 11 to 13, 2025, SSTC Group SA organized an intensive training program bringing together young Burundian lawyers to focus on the legal framework of public procurement. Over three days, participants received comprehensive guidance aimed at strengthening their skills in understanding the legal framework, drafting bids and contracts, analyzing procurement procedures, as well as managing risks and ensuring legal compliance.

This training, highly appreciated by participants, represents the first structured phase of the “SSTC Legal Fellowship Europe-Africa Exchange” program. It addressed a strategic area at the intersection of economic law, public law, and international law, with a particular focus on public procurement, a key sector for good governance and national development.

Through this initiative, SSTC Group SA facilitated professional connections between Burundian lawyers and European institutions, paving the way for international exchanges, collaborations, and mentorship opportunities. Practical workshops, case studies, and interactive sessions enabled participants to acquire concrete tools directly applicable to their professional practice.

Continuing this momentum, a post-training phase will be launched, focusing on access to professional networks, collaboration opportunities, connections with partner institutions, regional and international exchanges, and other initiatives designed to consolidate participants’ skills and broaden their career perspectives.

“The certificate you receive today is not a symbolic reward, but a moral investiture. It commits you to be ambassadors of rigor, ethics, and competence wherever you will practice in the future,” said Hon. Célestin NDAYIZEYE, Chairman of the Board of SSTC Group SA, during the certificate award ceremony.

Through this training, SSTC Group SA reaffirms its commitment to supporting the new generation of Burundian lawyers in enhancing their skills, expanding their international outlook, and contributing to transparency and legal security in public procurement in Burundi. The company continues to invest in leadership, excellence, and legal innovation in Burundi, across Africa, and globally.
